The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for education and cultural relations. We aim to build mutually beneficial relationships between people in the UK and Indonesia, and to increase appreciation of the UK’s creative ideas and achivements.

The British Council in Indonesia is recruiting for the posts of:
1. Project Team Leader (Development)
2.Project Team Member (Development)

1. Project Team Leader (Development)
(Jakarta Raya - Jakarta)

Requirements:The post holder will ensure that our existing portfolio of development contract are managed to client satifaction and will help us expand our programme by securing new opportunities, working with new partners. This position will be offered for a fixed period of 1 year.

Key duties of this post include:
# Project Management
# Proect Pursuit
# Communications and Relationship Management

The succesful applicant will need to be able to demostrate:
# Evidence of Project management experience with development organisations (E)
# Evidence in building and maintaining relationships for influence
# Capacity to apply procedures flexibly with high accountability
# Strong sense of achivement and customer service orientation
# An English language IELTS score of minimum 7

2.Project Team Member (Development)
(Jakarta Raya - Jakarta)

Requirements:The post holder will provide support to the Development Team ensuring that our existing portfolio of development contracts are managed to client satisfaction, helping us expand our programme by securing new opportunities. This position will be offered for a fixed period of 1 year.

Key duties of this post include:
# Project administration and management
# Financial and contractual management
# Monitoring and collating project data

The successful applicant will need to be able to demostrate:
# Evidence of project implementation, financial monitoring, and reporting
# Strong sense of achivements and customer service orientation
# Evidence in building and maintaining relationship for influence
# Capacity to apply procedures flexibly with high accountability
# An English language IELTS score of 6
